I am passionate about strength training. I have been ever since I was a 103lb fourteen-year-old. I am a former Power Lifter. My last competition was over 10 years ago. Since then, I have loved just taking care of my body, training with the barbell lifts, developing with various equipment, and exploring all the range of motion that my body owns.
I am a Mastery-Level Resistance Training Specialist® (RTS®). In my personal training sessions, I custom-fit exercises and plans to accomplish your goals, as well as what works best for your body, range of motion, and abilities.
I am also an author. I wrote my first book STRONG Willed: Designed for a Physical Purpose in 2014. In 2020, I released a collection of books I dubbed the Understanding Strength Project. There are currently two volumes: Standing Ourselves and Why You Should Exercise, Eat Healthy, and Die Anyway. These volumes will aid in moving us towards the understanding that our bodies are designed to be strong and useful, and for a purpose. The very understanding of that purpose reveals the story of humanity and why we were created.
I am a family man who loves being husband to my sweet wife Ny and dad to my three little niños — Rocky, Maverick and Rambo. You can find us hiking some trail every Saturday. We love to explore creation together!
